VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Clerks to help AOS and SFOS judges on Friday, October 13.

If you’ve every wanted to see how orchids are judged at shows, here’s your chance!

We also NEED help at our Hospitality table. Just a 2-3 hour assist on Friday/Saturday or Sunday would greatly help the Society

Lecture schedule

Friday:

•  1 PM- Mac Rivenbark-Mac Orchids-Five top Orchids
•  2 PM- Dan Christensen-Dan & Margie Orchids-Vandaceous Culture
•  3 PM- Carlos Cahiz-OFE International-How to Care for your Orchids

Saturday:

• 1 PM-Axel Cahiz-Amazonia Orchids- Cattleya Culture-Spanish/English
• 2 PM- Carlos Cahiz-OFE Int’l-Introduction to Growing & supplies (Spanish/English)
• 3 PM- Segundo Cuesta- Quest Orchids-Cutivando Orquideas en el Sur de la Florida (Spanish/English)

SFOS Members are requested to bring a canned food item or unwrapped toy which will be donated to those less fortunate in our community this holiday season!

Saturday: Lectures in English/Spanish

• 1 PM — Axel Cahiz-Amazonia Orchids- “Subject ‘Cattleya Culture”
• 2 PM — Carlos Cahiz- OFE International Orchid Supply-Subject “How to Care for your Orchids”
• 3 PM — Luis del Pino-RIO Orchids-Subject “Landscaping with Orchids”
